Selling An Idea In A Carnival World

I HAVE THIS IDEA AND I WANT TO SHARE IT.

It is a progressive idea and does not fit neatly into any one category. It is the idea that we’re all responsible for our own creative selves and our own happiness. I’ve been working on a way to share this idea, and I succeeded with it when I was sharing myself one-on-one as a Reiki practitioner, because in that quiet space people were open to witnessing their own healing and communicating their true selves without fear.

I am constantly amazed at how closed-down we’re becoming. Are you seeing this in yourself? In others? What more can we pile onto our wounded psyches? And where do we go from here?

I INVITE YOU TO JOIN ME IN THE SUMMER INTO AUTUMN MEDITATION SERIES.

In this series we will explore static thinking. July and August are often referred to as static months, but deep under the ground our roots are gathering water and nutrients from the soil despite the heat and drought above.

We live on a tilt-a-wheel planet that tips precariously on its axis as it stands alone in a sea of cosmic unknowns. It’s frightening to think we’re on this shifting planet, but it doesn’t have to be.

We can capture the nuance of living in harmony with ourselves and with others.

Joy is possible.

DON’T FEEL INSPIRED TO WORK ON YOURSELF?

You might love the motion of tipping first one way, and then the other. It’s what you have come to accept. Life is a series of fits and starts and emotional dramas. Just because I choose not to get caught up in that drama doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen to me. Because it does.

Emotionally, Earth is a difficult place to live on and stay balanced in. The fight-or-flight response is real to us. It is how we’re conditioned to live.

By practicing meditation and centering, we can accomplish better balance and greater emotional equilibrium. It doesn’t have to be difficult to seek balance. It begins with a desire to trust that you’re in a safe world despite what that world looks like above your deep growing roots.
