SOCIAL MEDIA IS A TOOL.
When used respectfully, social media brings people together. Whether or not Mark Zuckerberg foresaw his early creation as something akin to a Frankenstein, he must surely see it now.
I CAN NOT RELY ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO GET MY BOOK INTO THE HANDS OF MORE PEOPLE.
It won’t work like that for me. What I have to share can not be edited down to a fifteen second reel or into a three sentence story post. On occasion, I might record a video, and in that I can talk a little bit more about who I am and the book, The Intrepid Meditator, but the attention span of the average viewer on Instagram, as an example, isn’t long enough for me to share the nuance of this book.
Therefore, I will continue to invite people to join the website where I can delve a little deeper into the backstory of The Intrepid Meditator and all that I am trying to offer.
Social Media, for all its glories and for all its faults, is still a tool. I will continue to share myself via Social Media, but please know that you are an integral part of the book’s outreach. I am grateful you’re here. Grateful you’re asking questions. And grateful you’re enjoying the meditations and sharing this work.
SELF-AWARENESS, EXPANSION, AND SPIRITUAL DISCOVERY IS NOT FOR EVERYONE.
That’s not bad. It just is. For those of you continuing to find yourself interested in The Intrepid Meditator, and what it might entail as you begin this exploration of the soul/self, know that I’m grateful that you’ve entrusted yourself to me and the few hard-scrabble experiences I share as I begin to unpack what The Intrepid Meditator is all about.
This is a book about you. For you. It was written to support the guided/annotated meditations, but more than that it is a road map to help guide you through a healing modality that takes you into story, the happy, the sad, the negatives, and the positives of your life to help you discern what part of your story is your truth and what part, should you be ready and willing to do so, can be released.
WE’RE ALL INTREPID TRAVELERS. LET’S UNPACK OUR OVERBURDENED SUITCASES FOR THIS TRIP!
Social Media is a distractor. It serves to aggravate us. It isn’t designed to bring us to the truth of ourselves, but to the hunger as we seek more and more fulfillment outside ourselves.
I welcome you to The Intrepid Meditator and to this idea that we can undo the heartbreaking need to be liked. Together we can find inner peace and fulfillment as we learn to be in balance with all that surrounds us.
